| Ovid in form and slightly tapered at the base,this elegant Chinese jar radiates a brilliant silver iridescence developed over the many years through an oxidation process in the copper lead green glaze common to the Han Dynasty's green pottery. The top and bottom of the jar show vestiges of the clay props that were used to separate the pieces during the firing process in the kiln.The general condition is excellent with minor abrasions and burial adherings common to tomb pottery.
