| A superb Chinese snuff bottle of cylindrical form with sloping shoulders painted in a cracked ice design with a waisted neck,wide mouth,slightly convex lip and a flat,circular foot with an outer ring of underglaze blue,formalized floral scroll.Painted with a continuous design showing the elaborate residence of a Chinese official.The outstanding quality shows the absolute control of the difficult,underglaze pigments derived from copper and cobalt oxides. Condition:Excellent. Circa:Qing Dynasty,19thC,Jingde zhen,1810-1880. Size:3 1/4"H(without stopper) A true collector's item. | ||||||||||
