| An outstanding set of small Chinese birdcage feeders,both globular in form and each finely painted and surrounded with three fine lotus flowers attached to dense leafly stems,all between two blue single borders.The bases are marked in blue with the artemisia leaf,known as a sign of dignity.The hand made wooden handles were attached by the owner and usually fit perfectly within the birdcage panels.Condition: Excellent with normal wear due to usage and handling.Circa:Qing Dynasty,Daoguang Period(1821-1850) Size:dia.5/8"x11/8"H and dia:7/8"x11/4"H A true collectors item not easily found in the marketplace. | |||||
