A Rare and Fine 19thC Burmese Temple Carving
A very finely detailed 19thC Wooden Temple carving depicting a kneeling Acolyte giving water to an elephant on its knees along with two children kneeling in worship,all mounted on a black wooden base.The overall condition is excellent with no repairs.(please note the photo enlargements to see the beauty of this carving and skill of the carver)All carved out of one large piece of wood,indigenous to Burma .Size: 32"high x 11"wide(middle of carving)A very special carving for a very special collector.
