| Of bulbous-cylindrical form similar to a 'Palace Jar",well hollowed with a wide mouth and waisted neck surrounded by stylized lappets sitting on a circular footrim,densely painted in deep tones of underglaze blue around the body with a continuous design of lotus flowerhead decoration.The base,inscribed in blue reads, "Xuande Nian Zhi"(Xuande Period Made)but probably made in second quarter of 19thC around Daoguang Period.The stopper is carved glass in the form of a dragon with a black collar. Condition:Perfect. Circa:Qing Dynasty, Daoguang Period(1821-1850. Size:2 1/2"H(without stopper) Mouth/Lip:7/8". An outstanding addition for the selective collector. | ||||||||
