A beautiful 19th century Chinese fan. When opened it is approximately 25" wide and 14 1/2" tall. The sticks are lacquered wood with a scene on both sides painted in gold. The leaf has different scenes on each side. One side features a central medallion of numerous people with ivory faces and silk clothing. On each side of the central painting are two floral pictures. Antique Chinese porcelain cricket box. It is approximately 3 3/8" wide and 2" tall. It is painted with a rider on an animal and 5 other human figures. The are 2 small nicks on the bottom of the lid. I would estimate its age to be last half of 19th century. I have several other Chinese porcelain cricket boxes available. Email me if you would have any interest.
Two chinese export Nanking porcelain salts. I estimate the date to be pre 1850. They are both in very good condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs. The salts are approximately 4 1/4" long, 3" wide and 1 3/8 high.
Porcelain vase by well known Japanese potter Makuzu Kozan, whose signature appears on the base. Pictured on the vase are a number of subtly huddled egrets with brown beaks and black eyes against a celadon ground. The vase is approximately 7 3/4" high and is in very good shape, with no chips, cracks or repairs. I estimate its date to be around 1900.
