Eduardo Herrera's architecture background is evident in the design and execution of his jewelry. This beautifully conceived wide silver bracelet has links that look something like a spine and move like one. The links are 2 1/4" wide and are overlapped with links of a different shape going down the center. All are hammered 950 silver, higher purity than the sterling standard. Unusual silver bracelet of overlapping discs. Each is slightly longer than a half circle. The links move well creating a piece that both looks terrific and feels good to the touch. Designed by Manuel Porcayo under the name Hecho a Mano (Made by Hand). It weighs a substantial 139 grams. Links are 5/8" wide.
This handsome, sterling and sodalite cuff bracelet can be worn equally well by a man or woman. Graduated size oval stones are framed by triangular bands of silver. Hammer marks on the inside are evidence that it is totally hand fabricated. It measures 1 1/4" wide; inside diameter is 2 1/2" with an opening 1 1/16". The size can be modified a bit, either larger or smaller.
