Exceptional Friendship Quilt in which each block is signed. One block is inscribed "Nancy B. Kellogg's Album Quilt". Many of the surnames are Kellogg but others include: Adams; Boyd; Gibbons; Payne and Leggett. Several mention the relationship of the signer to Nancy Kellogg.
Most of the blocks mention Franklin but others say Owego; Tioga County as well as Mr. Douglas Kellogg from Columbia County. All of these firmly place the quilt in New York State.
