Mauve and brown are combined in this hooked rug to make a very rich, warm palette. The pattern is sufficiently abstract that it would be effective whether used vertically or horizontally. Very slight wear to the twill binding, otherwise excellent condition. Wool; measures 20" x 50".

This pristine Cat's Paw hooked rug is the most vibrant version of the pattern that I have seen. Small dots between the paws add tremendously to the overall movement of the design. The size, color, condition and pattern would make this either an exceptional wall hanging, table or floor cover. Wool; pristine condition. Circa 1940; measures 21" x 39".
