Finely woven Navaho pictorial rug that is simultaneously detailed and streamlined. Subtle color change shows a corral fence in the distance. Mesas are wonderfully abstracted into geometric forms. Hooked rug with an utterly charming image of a huge hound. Soft colors of the dog are outlined in black. Wonderful huge red nose and piercing green eyes. Professionally mounted on a stretcher that follows the slightly octagonal shape of the rug. Excellent condition; professionally cleaned. Stretcher measures 33 1/2" x 43".
