| Unusual hooked rug with two totally different textures. The interior striped portion is done in traditional hooking. The border is done by a technique known as prodding. The loose ends give a wonderful hairy effect. That, combined with the irregular coloration make a terrific contrast with the structured pattern of the striped center. New York State origin; circa 1920. Measures 39" x 40". | ||||||
