An exceptionally fine Ghanta or bell from Tibet.The handle is cast with a head.The bell has cast in it 8 auspicious symbols;a row of dorjes around the bottom rim, and a long line of Tibetan script on top of the bell.Inside the bell is another row of Tibetan script cast in low relief.
Very fine dark patina to handle and grey patina to the bell.Gives every indication of great age.
