$55.00

Framed in an intricate black tone molding with museum quality, acid-free mat and mounting materials, this Circa 1915, pastel-colored, McCall's Magazine Fashion print will be well-preserved for many, many years to come.

This carefree print features a Mother playing the piano as her young children dance and older siblings look on.

Photography was a challenge in an attempt to avoid flash reflections. As such, please note that the subtle coloring- grays, pinks, greens, blues, and yellows- are even throughout the print, with crisp, clear detailing. Any distortion seen in pics is entirely due to photography challenges only!

Framed piece measures 10 1/2" x 13 1/2". Very fine condition, professionally framed, ready to hang!!

$135.00

Offered are 2, extremely rare, New Haven, Connecticut, patrolman's record books dated 1897 and 1898. Each book is filled with individually-dated, hand-written entries documenting a day in the life of the late 19th century, city policeman.

These record books were considered official documents and were required record-keeping for every patrolman to be completed after each tour of duty and once completed for the day, were kept under secure watch by the officer in charge at the police station.

The record books were completed by Patrolman William J. Welch during November 1897 and by Patrolman George Taylor during March 1898.

Condition: the books have separated from their hard-bound covers with some loose pages, although all pages appear to be present. Entries are hand-written in pencil and are quite readable.

Fascinating and unique historical artifacts!
