Offered is an appealing and unusual pair of late 1900s, gold gilt, painted, wood and metal dentist signs. The signs were acquired from a New Hampshire estate. The wood sign measures 24" long x 7.5" wide, and both signs remain in very, very nice overall condition except for expected areas of paint loss, some crackling and general wear commonly seen with vintage signs of such age-- 80+ years! A notable feature of these wonderful signs are that they are each double sided signs. Both sides of the wood sign are signed ‘ACME’ below the letter ‘T’ in the word dentist. The large sign has eyelet hooks for hanging and the smaller curved sign has 2 tin posts for hanging. A rare and visually appealing piece! |
