This is a wonderful pair of late 19th century hand-painted apothecary, pharmacy tins complete with fancy gold leaf labels. Both canisters sport an applied decorative floral medallion and measure approximately 6.5" high and 4.5" wide. The covers are fully functional and enhance the appeal of this lovely duo. The condition of the tins is very good with wear commensurate with their age. There are various scratches, areas of minor paint loss, and unobtrusive dings. While the paint is very old, it may not be original. |
