This wonderfully rare and fascinating dental item is offered from the collection of a retired Massachusetts dentist/oral surgeon. He informed me that this very hard to find set is the most complete S.S. White Dental Tooth Form Boxed Set that he has ever come upon in his many decades of collecting. There are only 8 missing metal forms out of the original 150 pieces the set contained when newly manufactured. The actual machine is complete and sets neatly within the fitted case. One of the circular forms is partially damaged on the edge and cannot be seen when residing within the case. The interior label is complete and in very nice condition. The hardwood box is in good condition with wear commensurate with its age and use. One of the closing latches is missing but could be replaced if desired. The box measures 17.25 inches long x 7 inches wide x 2.25 inches high and opens and closes with ease. Antique dental items such as this remain quite elusive in today's collecting market, and are a must for the serious collector of Dental Memorabilia! |
