| A rare Western Zhou period bronze rams 'gui' ritual cooking vessel. It was finely moulded with rams and floral decorations. The handles were modelled as rams. 'Gui' were ritual cooking vessels for preparing food for rulers or important ceremonies during the Western Zhou dynasty and so they are rare and important. Date: Western Zhou period (ca. 1122BC - 771BC); Height: 6 inches; max. length: 11 3/4 inches; Condition: no breakages and repairs, metal corrosion due to contact with soil and water during burial, Ex.
