| A very rare and important Koryo dynasty, 12th century carved celadon bud vase. Of finely and stoutly potted shape, covered overall in a fine and glossy crackled green glaze and finely carved with subtle floral sprays on the body and key fret borders around the neck under the glaze. Four moulded rams' heads were applied on the shoulder. Three stilt marks and a small chip are on the inner foot, revealing the fine greyish body. Date: Koryo dynasty, 12th century; Height: 5 1/2 inches; Condition: one small chip to inner foot, otherwise excellent. | |||||||||||||||
