IMPORTANT CHOSON D. RETICULATED UNDERGLAZE RED BRUSHPOT

A stunning and very rare Korean Choson dynasty, 18th century reticulated Buddhist underglaze copper red porcelain brushpot. It was finely and perfectly reticulated with peach trees and Buddhist emblems. The peaches were coloured red in underglaze copper red. Aside from the tight short crack on the mouthrim shown in the last photo, it is in excellent condition. A rare opportunity to acquire such stunning item. Date: Choson dynasty, 18th century; Height: 7 1/8 inches; Condition: One tight short crack on the mouthrim, otherwise excellent.
