| A fine pair of 19th century (AD1820 - AD1850), probably Daoguang period famille rose bamboo bowls. They were finely decorated with bamboo, lingzhi fungi and rock patterns in famille rose. The base bears a peach mark in overglaze red often seen in Daoguang period porcelains. Provenance: property of a local prominent garment manufacturer; Date: 19th century; Diameter: 4 7/8 inches, 4 3/4 inches; Condition: a one inch crack in one of the bowls, otherwise good. | |||||||||||||||
