Authentic antique Russian icon of the Mother of God of Vladimir is one of the oldest icons of the type Eleousa (Virgin of Tenderness). 19th century The icon is finely hand painted on the wood panel covered with crimson fabric and encased with the repoussé and hand chased gold plated oklad engraved in Cyrillic alphabet “Vladimirskaya”. Dimensions: 18 cm x 14, 5 cm (7 in x 5 5/8 in). Condition: The icon is in the original good condition with a nice old patina . No repairs or restorations.
