Circa 1700 antique hand - colored map of Palestine or Holy Land in Latin. The title is: "Palaestina sev Terra Sancta" and was made by Christoph Cellarius (1638-1707). The hand coloring is from that period of time. It is very well done and the place names are clear. Above the name of Palaestine is a picture of King David playing a harp and on the right side is the high priest with ceremonial robes and hat. Both are sitting on the clouds...
