This is a spectacular Amphora shape vase with deep rich brawn iridescent glaze. The color is vibrant and vivid. On the bottom is a drilled hole- as in the first half of 20 century old Chinese vases were converted to lamps. It is in good condition considering its age except one handle was repaired some time ago. The vase is 11 5/8 in tall. We guarantee that this is an authentic piece.

Large Antique Chinese Oxblood Vases with Chinese maker’s mark on the bases. The photo of the top shows how the glaze was applied. The vases date from the 19th century. Sometime in the 20th century holes were drilled in the bases of the vases to put through an electrical cord. Height: 17 ½ inches. Width: 8 ¼ inches.

A pair of Japanese Imari bowls with lids decorated in typical Imari pattern. Maker’s mark in red on the top of the lids and blue marker’s mark on the bottoms. Insides of the bowls without decoration. No cracks. One bowl has a very tiny chip on the rim of the base (see photo). No repairs. Height with lid: 3 ½ inches. Diameter of bowl at the top: 4 ¾ inches.
