Pair of rare antique late 17th century or early 18th century, Islamic Persian Safavid dynasty saddle stirrups entirely hand forged from a single piece of thick solid iron. Each arched form is adorned with incised decoration rising to a strap loop, at the top flanked by two opposing swan heads with the eyes inlaid with turquoises stones and oval footplate.
