18th century Chinese Qing Dynasty cast bronze Lota made for the Islamic market.
DETAILS: elegant octagonal form, swan shape neck spout, decorated with two panels enclosing flowering pruned branches and two smaller panels with similar ornamentation, the entire body of the ewer is beautifully ornamented with hand chiseled fine floral spray pattern. This ewer never had a handle.
CONDITION: in good condition with nice dark patina showing its age.
