DETAILS: the steel hilt is of a characteristic form with down quillons terminating in dragon heads, a large pommel in the form of a lotus pod, the hallow interior with "seeds", short mildly curved heavy, and wide blade expanded at its distal 12.5 inches to a khilij form with elaborate fullering; one central fuller and three groups of twin fullers on both sides of the blade along the back edge decorated with copper inlaid dots...

19th century, Indian hunting sword.
DETAILS: curved single edged steel blade chiselled in low relief on both sides with Hindu deities and wiled animals, pistol shape steel hilt with engraved floral motif.

DETAILS: narrow and curved 75cm (29 ½ in) long blade displaying very fine Damascus steel pattern wootz, right side of the blade with gold inlaid cartouche with Arabic script, gold gilt copper hilt of characteristic form with the knuckle bow terminating in dragon head and finely engraved and chased meandering flowering vine.
