A pair of fine antique Japanese Cloisonné enamel vases, Meiji period. DETAILS: each of baluster form bearing a celadon ground decorated in finally worked colored enamels with in wires.
MEASUREMENTS: The vases are 31 cm (12 ¼ in) tall.
CONDITION: One vase has two chips in enamel and another one has hairline cracks near the rim which is not uncommon on pieces from this period.

Authentic 17th century European, Barock Bible/Book Clasps portraying two apostles; St. Peter with the Keys of the Kingdom and St. Paul holding a sword. DETAILS: The clasps are made of several solid silver elements soldered together and hand chiselled. My guess is that such a piece would have been the custom work therefore there is no markings.
CONDITION: well preserved original condition, worn out faces of the apostles which is a good signs of age...
