A very unusual antique, second have of the 19th century, silver Cross composed of 58 small Indian Travancore State silver Chuckram coins, soldered to a silver wire frame. The suspension loop is stamped with the French import ‘Swan’ silver hallmark.
The 'Swan' mark was introduced on 1st June 1864; it was used on silver articles imported into France from countries without Customs Conventions. Its use was discontinued on 1st June 1893...

Antique Pre Columbian Nicoya ca.100-1500 AD polychrome ceramic female figure seated with legs spread apart extended straight forward and slender arms placed on the belly, with wide-set breast, the carefully modeled face with oval eyes and large lips decorated by tattoos.

Rare German cavalry officers’ sword with Iron Cross. Lion’s head hilt is made of brass with wooden grip covered by shark skin and wrapped in silver wire. The langet decorated with crossed, swords lances and civic crown. The knuckle guard is decorated with Iron Cross, cross swords, lance shield and the cartridge pouch with a guard’s star. A charming antique Russian wooden tobacco box painted in the traditional Russian art manner with 17century Moscow scenes of beautiful old architecture and the people of Moscow as Boyars with wives, merchants, monks and the members of the Tsar infantry guard Streltsi. This is a beautiful 18th Century Turkish Ottoman watered-steel wootz Bichaq with single-edged blade. The back-edge of the blade is chiseled with a medial ridge and at the forte with a panel of arabesques and a reinforced tip. The hilt made of two pieces of bone is joined in the middle by a Damascus (wootz) steel strap. The leather covered wooden scabbard is mounted with a metal tip. The length of the Bichaq in the scabbard is 14 ½ inches and the length of the blade is 8¾ inches.
