Antique 18th -19th century Indo Persian "vambraces" armour for the forearms Islamic BAZU BAND made of well hand hammered steel etched with three Persian mounted warriors equipped with shamshire swords, shields, and spears, amongst various animals, and enriched with gold koftgari damascening, with foliage borders heightened with silver damascening. The Bazuband comes with its chain mail gauntlet dastuvana on leather and fabric lining.
MEASUREMENTS: Overall length with the dastuvana: 48 cm (19 in). Overall length of the bazuband alone: 31.7 cm (12 1/2 in). Width at the widest point: 9.5 cm (3 3/4 inches).
