Antique 19th century Indonesian Javanese sword Pedang Lurus with an older blade. This sword was common in Java, but could also be found in other Indonesian islands. A sturdy slightly down curving partly two–edged Damascus steel Pamor blade, with an outstanding watered pattern. The hilt is made of low-grade Eastern silver alloy, with a short crossguard, embossed in an elaborate design. In its original low-grade Eastern silver alloy scabbard, with a wooden insert, decorated en suite with the hilt.

CONDITION: Signs of usage and wear, minor dents in the silver throughout, signs of soldering at the joint of the grip and the crossguard.
