SOLD 18th – 19th century Indian silver figure of the horse made from numerous silver elements; legs, horn, tail, body and base
are made separately then soldered together; the figure is hollow.
In Hindu Mythology horse is the vehicle of Kendeh Rao an avatar of Shiva.
Dimensions: Height.5cm (2in) length.5,3cm (2 1/8 in). CONDITION: in very good condition, no repairs or restorations, nice showing its age and usage patina. ALL ITEMS ARE GUARANTEED TO BE AUTHENTIC ANTIQUES, AND NOT REPRODUCTIONS.
