| 18th century Indo Persian sword Shamshir with a very rare blade . The entire surface of the blade is covered on both sides with Arabic inscriptions . The extremely long blade is heavy and thick but very well balanced . The hilt of the sword is made of damascened steel, the cross guard has some old repairs. Length of blade: 30 ½ inches. | |||||||||
