LATE 16TH CENTURY OR EARLY 17TH C.  EUROPEAN CUPBOARD
Late 16th century or early 17th century European cupboard the cupboard doors are extensively carved in wood. The cupboard has all of the original hand forged iron hardware, chain & locks (no key). There are remaining holes from woodworm on the cupboard. The wood is joined by wooden picks. The cupboard is in good condition for its age and has beautiful patina. The bottom hinges are loose due to decay of the holes holding the hinges. This piece is very old and does have some dryness and cracks to the joinery as any piece of this age. Dimensions: 68" high, 15" deep and 28" wide.
