| Outstanding 18th century Falcion Sword made in America. The grip is made of ivory , carved expertly with an animal head. There is a chip at the end of the handle but in good condition, except for one small crack (see picture). The blade is slightly pitted. Crossguard made of iron with a hammered leaf pattern. The crossguard was cleaned up unproperly at some time. The back of the blade at the tip is wider. There is one big fuller on each side. The piece has a beautiful patina. Entire length in straight line: 35 inches. Length of Blade: 29 1/8 inches, width of blade near handle: 1 3/8 inches. | ||||||||||||
