| American Civil War sword dated 186? on the blade at the base. The fourth number is worn out. On the other side of the blade is a manufacture's name. The pommel and knuckle bow stamped with partly worn out number 4 and the guard near ricasso with the number 26. The 1840 model was used by the Confederacy and the Union. Total length: 38 inches, the blade is 32 inches. The sword is in good condition. | |||||||
