| A good quality Moro Barong sword, 19th Century. Details: the broad leaf shaped single edged blade made from hand forged Damascus steel with characteristically elaborated carved wooden hilt mounted in silver, the original wooden scabbard decorated with simple but effective carving. Condition: in good condition except for a crack in wooden scabbard and a chip in the pommel. Measurements: overall length with the scabbard: 27 ½ inches (70 cm), the length without scabbard: 25 ½ inches (64,8 cm), length of the blade: 18 ½ inches (47cm) width of the blade at the widest point: 2 ½ inches (6,3cm). | |||||||
