Antique medieval 11th-13th century European knight spur in excavated condition with a slender recurved heel with long pyramidal spike and a pierced oval terminal for attaching straps.

CONDITION: In an excavated condition with a black lacquered surface, absence one of the terminal. MEASUREMENTS: Overall length with the buckle: 13.5 cm (5 ¼ in).
