| Charming vintage Impressionist Coastal Landscape Oil painting, a group of Fishing Boats. This painting has a very interesting quality, colors are similiar to the Fauve Movement, great shapes, ethereal background, very pleasing image. Oil on canvas, nice age patina, thinly painted on tack stretched cotton canvas, homemade stretchers, frame is a white stained pine and appears original to the painting, unusual clamps which hold the corners with stamped name Lambert. Have not seen these before. Exact age of painting is unknown but likely 40's-60's. Artist signed lower right corner, hard to read looks like ....Allison but has more letters in front of this. A fine original oil. SIZE: painting 18-1/2" x 24", framed size 21" x 29". CONDITION: this painting is in very good condition but does have light scratches, nothing distracting but not perfect. Frame is in excellent condition. | ||||||||||
