| This is a framed original Interior photograph of Old Bookbinders Restaurant in Philadelphia Pennsylvania titled in the negative TESTIMONIAL DINNER IN HONOR OF W.M. ROUSE .. OLD BOOKBINDERS - JAN 25, 1938. Also hand written in negative ATLANTIC PHOTO SERVICE 319 CHESTNUT ST. PHILA. The photo is framed behind glass in a Mahogany wooden stepped frame of the period. SIZE: 13-1/4" X 22" long. CONDITION: the photo has several creases at the top edge and shows some evidence of slight creasing on the sides. I have tried to show this but the glare from the glass is difficult and distracting. It does display in excellent condition. The frame has an outer edge chip on the lower right corner 1-1/4" long and involves the 1/16" edge, shown in pictures. I will guarantee my condition description and the authenticity of this Estate piece of Philadelphia History. The faces and details of the photo are very clear, the old chairs and lanterns are great. The color is golden toned as is shown, common to these old large photos. The white specs in the closeups are dust which with magnification appear to be on the inside of the glass and not in the photograph itself. A fine image of Old Bookbinders Restaurant as it appeared in 1938. | |||||||||||||||
