| A most wonderful Rare Black Bakelite Bracelet, carved in an Art Deco pattern of dots and dashes with linear top and bottom single border. And the best part is that it is overpainted in the old Silver paint to emphasize the carving. I date this bracelet to the mid to late 30's. From a great old Estate. No testing needed here, the bracelet is a prime example of the era and is Bakelite but will not test positive as it is overdyed. SIZE: 1/2" wide x 1/4" thick, wrist size is 2-1/2". CONDITION: excellent, incidentally, the bracelet has some overdyed scratches where the carver must have slipped, but these are not noticible as they were covered by the black coating. A super addition to a vintage Bakelite colelction. | |||||||||
