A fine and rare 'Transitional' double gourd vase, delicately painted in underglaze blue, depicting two scholars at leisure in a garden. The neck is decorated with styalized tulips. This item was made circa 1640 during the reign of the Chongzhen Emperor (1628 to 1644). Condition - there are museum style gold leaf repairs to the top and there is a kiln iron spot on the lapet border to the waist of the vase. 8 inches (20cm) high.

明崇祯 明晚期青花人物葫芦瓶
一件精美稀有的“过渡期”青花人物葫芦瓶。瓶颈以郁金香装饰。作于明崇祯年间，约1640年左右。
品相：瓶口有博物馆风格的金叶修补，瓶中间有一处烧制过程中形成的铁锈色斑。高20厘米。

A small 17th century teapot, delicately painted in underglaze cobalt blue, depicting a scholar under a pine tree .There is a poem on the reverse side. The poem reads - "The day go fishing at Shui River. the morning having dream on Qi Shan Mountain." Both are famous locations in Shaanxi province, central northern China. This item was made in China during the reign of the Kangxi Emperor (1662-1722). Condition - There is a crack at the base of the handle and there is production glaze loss at the back of the handle. There are a number of tiny burst glaze bubbles - the largest being to the underside of the spout. Height 3.2 inches (8cm) Length 4.5 inches (11.5cm).

清康熙 青花松下垂钓图文小茶壶
一件17世纪青花松下垂钓图文小茶壶。一面为图，另一面为诗句：“渭水投竿日，岐山入梦辰“。作于清康熙年间。
品相：壶把底有一冲缝，把上有一处烧造过程中产生的釉面缺失。有几处小爆釉，最大的一处在壶嘴下方。高8厘米，长11.5

A very attractive, well patinated bronze censer on lotus form stand with ruyi - shaped feet. On the base is the six character seal mark of the Xuande Emperor but this item was made later, during the 17th Century - late Ming or early Qing. The censer appears to have been used as a plant pot - the base has been drilled in three places and there are heavy malachite - tinged encrustations to the interior (please see pictures). 5.25 inches (13.5cm) High 5.7 inches (14.7cm) Across.

精美的17世纪 双耳三足铜香炉带座
一件精美的包浆厚重的铜香炉，带如意足莲花形座。底有“大明宣德年制”六字款，但为稍晚17世纪（明末清初）所作。
品相：香炉曾被用作花盆，所以底部有三处钻孔及一层厚厚的绿铜锈形成的孔雀石层（见图）。高13.5厘米，宽14.7厘米。

An early 18th Century underglaze blue decorated porcelain tea bowl and saucer made for export to Europe during the reign of the Kangxi Emperor (1662-1722). Condition - good. There are the usual rim frits and there is a light hairline running from the rim of the saucer.

清康熙 青花外销茶盏及托
一件18世纪早期外销青花茶盏及托，作于清康熙年间。
品相：良好。有毛口现象，碟上自口沿起有一处冲缝。

A very rare late Ming porcelain dish decorated in underglaze blue with overglaze iron red and green enamels. The base carries the four character mark of the Chenghua emperor but this item was made during the reign of the Tianqi Emperor(1621-1627)probably for export to Japan. Condition extremely fine. No restoration and( apart from the usual rim fritting) no damages and no losses to the overglaze decoration. 6.5 inches(16.5cm) Diameter.

明天启 五彩人物盘
一件少有的明晚期五彩盘。底有“成化年制”四字款，但作于明天启年间，故为出口至日本的外销品。
品相：非常好。除常见的毛口现象外，无修复，无损伤，无缺失。直径16.5厘米。

An "egg and spinach" biscuit-glazed porcelain incense/taper stick holder modelled in the form of a Buddhist guardian lion. These items were made both for the domestic market and for export to Europe circa 1690-1710 during the reign of the Kangxi Emperor. Condition - The upper jaw has been repaired and there has been a very old loss ( possibly during the making) to the top of the incense holder. Height 6.3 inches (16cm).

17/18世纪 素三彩狮形香插 清康熙
一件素三彩狮形香插。当时中国国内和欧洲市场皆可见到，作于清康熙年间，约1690-1710年间。
品相：狮口上颚有修补，香插部分上方有一处旧的缺失（可能为烧造过程中所致）。高16厘米。

A well carved, painted, terracotta pipe made by skilled potters of either the Bamessing or the Babungo on the Cameroon Grasfields. Originally, only Kings, chiefs and court officials would have smoked prestige pipes of this kind but the potters were quick to create these pipes for sale to Europeans even before the colonial period. This pipe portrays a dignatory with his elaborate hat (possibly beaded). There are pipe heads of this type on display in the Liverpool World Museum. This item was probably made early in the 20th Century. Condition is very good. There are chips to the headress (please see pictures) and wear to the painted areas. Height 6.75 inches(17cm)

A rare large deep dish, of Imperial quality, very finely painted in shades of iron red depicting two five clawed dragons amongst clouds contesting a flaming pearl. There are two similarly painted five-clawed dragons, each in pursuit of a pearl, painted on the underside. The base carries the partly erased six character mark of the Qianlong Emperor but this item was probably made later, during the reign of the Guangxu Emperor (1875-1908). Condition - excellent. There are no chips or cracks and there has been no restoration. There are three glaze blemishes to the clouds in the upper region of the dish the largest of which is above the head of the right hand dragon. 13.5 inches (34cm) diameter 2 inches (5cm) high.

乾隆款矾红釉二龙戏珠纹盘
一件具官窑品质、工艺精美的矾红二龙戏珠纹深口盘。底有部分被擦掉的矾红六字“大清乾隆年制”款，但应为后世光绪年间所做。
品相：完好。无磕无冲，无修复。盘内上部云纹上有三处缺陷（小黑点），最大的一处出现在右侧龙纹之上。直径34厘米，高5厘米。

A rare well-carved 'boxwood' mirror frame made in 'chinoiserie' style for export to Europe circa 1810-1820 (late Jiaqing reign). Condition - very good. No damages. 10.25 inches (26cm) High x 6.8 inches (17.4cm) Wide.

19世纪初 外销木质镜框
一件雕工精湛、类中国风格的黄杨木镜框，为清嘉庆末期（约1810-1820）出口至欧洲的外销品。
品相：很好。无损伤。高26厘米，宽17.4厘米。

An attractive Chinese soapstone carving of the Daoist Immortal Zhong Hanli. This item was made circa 1790-1820 either late in the Qianlong reign or during the reign of the Jaiqing Emperor. Condition very good. There are natural flaws in the stone and much of the original paint can still be seen. 14cm (5.5 inches) High 10cm (4 inches) Wide.

18/19世纪寿山石雕钟汉离坐像
一件寿山石雕钟汉离坐像。约作于1790-1820，乾隆末嘉庆初年间。
品相：很好。石材有天然的瑕疵，许多原来的颜色仍可见。高14厘米，宽10厘米。

A fine early 18th Century blue and white bowl attractively painted to the exterior with a continuous scene of ladies at leisure in a fenced riverside garden. The interior is painted with a central roundel of the Three Friends of Winter. The base carries the six character mark of the Yongzheng Emperor and was made during his reign (1723-1735). The everted rim has been slightly reduced and there is extensive surface scratching both inside and out. 8.25 inches (21cm) diameter 3.7 inches (9.5cm) high.

精美的青花仕女图撇口碗 雍正款及其时期
一件精美的18世纪青花风景仕女图碗。内部中央圈内绘有岁寒三友，底有青花“大清雍正年制”六字款。
品相：口沿略被削掉一部分，碗内外皆有许多划痕。直径21厘米，高9.5厘米。

An exceptionally well decorated and finely potted bowl made to the best Imperial standards. The base carries the six character reign mark of the Chenghua Emperor enclosed within a double circle. This item was made later - during the reign of the Kangxi Emperor - probably in imitation of or as a replacement for a 15th Century Ming original. There are eight chips to the rim. There is a 2.5cm light hairline running from the rim. 17cm (6.7 inches) Diameter 7.5cm (3 inches) High.

精美的成化款青花人物图碗 清康熙
一件具官窑上乘品质的青花人物碗。底有“大明成化年制”双圈六字款，但应为后世清康熙年间所做。
品相：口沿有八处磕口，及一处长约2.5厘米的冲缝。直径17厘米，高7.5厘米。

A superbly carved yellow soapstone seal in the form of a boulder. The legend on the base seems to read: Hua pa chou shang yin, or "Huapa (Flowery Loquat) seal of congratulation". On one side is a design of archaic dragons sporting around a traditional emblem of wealth, the copper cash with a square hole. Three inscriptions are carved on the faces of the boulder, much as ancient inscriptions were carved on suitable rock faces in the mountains. They appear to be seven-character poems containing phrases such as "water rising in spring" "as light as a feather" "seeking new fire" "lamp for book reading" "snowy pine" etc.Condition - excellent. The seal has been used and the characters are encrusted with old seal paste. We have been reliably informed that this item probably dates to the first half of the 19th Century c1800-1850. 3.5 inches (9cm) High.

精美稀有的田黄石雕印章
一件雕刻精美的田黄石雕印章。底刻有闲章印一款。一面刻有螭龙钱币纹；另一面为三首诗：一为韩愈《左迁至蓝关示侄孙湘 》，一为王禹《清明》，及另一首佚名诗。
品相：完好。印章有使用痕迹，底部字面上留有印泥残迹。经可靠人士告知，此件应为19世纪上半期所做。高9厘米。

A heavy Ming style bronze censer bearing the inscription - "There is no God but Allah and Mohammed is his prophet". Similarly inscribed bronzes and porcelain were first made for the Imperial court during the reign of the Zhengde Emperor (1506-1521) but this item was made later. The base carries a four character Xuande mark. Condition - very good. 3 inches (7.5cm) High 5.3 inches (13.5cm) Wide.

阿拉伯文字装饰的宣德款铜香炉
一件明代风格的铜香炉，上有阿拉伯文字，译为：阿拉是唯一的神，穆罕默德是他的先知。带有类似文字装饰的铜器和瓷器首先出现于明正德年间的宫廷，但此件可能稍晚。底有“宣德年制”四字款。
品相：很好。高7.5厘米，宽13.5厘米。

A very finely decorated Imperial wine cup depicting two iron-red five-clawed dragons, over breaking waves, in pursuit of flaming pearls. The base carries the underglaze blue seal mark of the Daoguang Emperor and was made during his reign (1821-1850). There is a 4cm hairline running from the rim . There is also a small rim chip above the tail of one of the dragons and there are two tiny rim nibbles (Please see pictures). Height - 4.7cm Diameter - 5.9cm

清道光 稀有的官窑制矾红龙纹酒杯
一件精美的官窑制矾红二龙戏珠纹酒杯。底有“大清道光年制”青花六字篆书款，亦作于本朝。
品相：自口沿处以一道4厘米长的冲缝。口沿另有一处小磕口和两处极小的瑕疵（见照片）。高4.7厘米，直径5.9厘米。

A well carved rock crystal sculpture comprising a vase with "chilong" dragon handles and surrounded by Magnolia, Peach, Pomegranate and Lingzhi Fungus. Condition -there is impact damage to the neck and a branch and two of the peach leaves are chipped. 3.75 inches (9.5cm) high 4.5 inches (11.5cm) wide.

18世纪水晶雕三多瓶
一件水晶雕三多瓶，螭龙耳，瓶身周围刻有兰花、寿桃、石榴和灵芝。
品相：瓶口有一处磕碰，寿桃的枝叶有磕口。高9.5厘米，宽11.5厘米。

A charming 'mutton-fat' jade carving of the Hehe Erxian (or 'Hehe Twins') holding a basket (containing a bat) also a lotus flower and probably made in the 18th Century during the reign of the Qianlong Emperor (1736-1795). Condition very good. 1.85 inches (4.8cm) High 1.8 inches (4.75cm) Wide

A good bronze bombe form censer with rare figural decoration. The base carries the six character mark of the Ming Xuande Emperor but this item was made much later during either the late 18th or early 19th Centuries (c1790 - 1850). Condition - very good.
