A large rare and finely painted 17th/18th century style "Powder Blue" vase, moulded in Yutangchun form, depicting a partially concealed five clawed dragon amongst stylized flames. The base carries the four character reign mark of the Kangxi emperor but this item was made later, during the reign of the Guangxu emperor (1875-1908). Provenance - this item is a probate purchase from the collection of a Liverpool artist. Condition - excellent - no damages and no restoration. 40cm (15.75 inches) high.
