A pair of deep bowls, painted with over glaze blue enamels, each depicting fruiting melon vines and a butterfly. On the base of each is an over glaze iron red shop or maker's mark in the form of a peach. These items were probably made in the late Qing dynasty, during the reign of the Guangxu emperor (1875-1908). Condition - excellent - no damages and no repairs. 6.5cm(2.5in) high; 8.5cm(3.3in) diameter.
