A large late Qing dynasty polished bronze three footed censer and cover with Chilong dragon handles and decorated with with dragon and a phoenix on each side. The base carries an archaic style seal mark for the Xuande emperor (1426-1435) but this item was made later, during the 19th Century. Condition - good - the ears of the Lion seated on the cover are missing and this item has been polished; there are no further damages and there have been no repairs. 37.5cm (14.75inches) high; weight - approx 4 kilos (8.8lbs}.
