Late Qing Transitional Style Landscape Fish Bowl - 19C
A heavy porcelain fish bowl decorated in traditional Chinese taste in 17th Century Transitional style with a continuous panoramic landscape. Above the base is a band of 14th/15th Century style breaking waves: above the landscape is a Ruyi / floral border. Condition: there is a three way star crack to the base - one , which has an associated chip to the footrim, runs down one side of the bowl from top to bottom and a second runs half way up one side (please view enlargements); no further damages and no restoration. 30cm (12inches) high; 36cm (14inches) diameter For additional enlargements please view item #0108 on our recently constructed shop website at 69aliverpool.co.uk.
