 Early 18th Century Chinese Imari Soup Dish (1723-1735)
A small early 18th Century Chinese "Imari" soup dish painted with underglaze cobalt blue and overglaze iron red, decorated with flowering peonies, prunus blossom and buddhistic emblems . This item was made in Jingdezhen (South China), for export to Europe, during the reign of the Yongzheng emperor (1723-1735). Condition: one small rim chip(please view enlargement 9); no further damages and no restoration. 16.3cm(6.4inches) diameter.
