A very rare, finely decorated, lobed vase in the shape of a draw string purse, delicately painted with Fencai enamels in imitation of Beijing enamel on copper.
The base carries the seal mark of the Qianlong emperor (1736 - 1795) but this item was made later, and enamelled in Guandong province, in the 1930s during the Republic period. For 59 additional pictures please view #0927 in our Liverpool shop website at 69aliverpool.co.uk .
