17th C Style Wood Carved Brush Rest, Late 20th Century

A chinese wood carving - possibly a brush rest - depicting scholars at leisure under pine trees in a mountain landscape. This item is carved in 17th century "Transitional" style but was made later -probably during second half of the 20th Century. Condition - very good - there is one chip to the branch over hanging the Scholars playing a board game (please see enlargement 12). 7 inches (17.8cm) long; 3 inches (7.5cm) high.

仿17世纪风格木雕笔架-20世纪
中国木雕-估为笔架-文人佳士悠然对弈图景，以群山古松为背景，风格似17世纪过渡期风格，但出于后世-估为20世纪下半叶。
品相完好，仅垂于人物之上的松枝有处磕伤（见放大图12），器长17.8cm，高7.5cm。
