18th Century Chinese Export Stirrup Handled Cream Jug
A well painted underglaze blue decorated, stirrup-handled, "sparrows beak" jug made in China for export to Europe during the reign of the Qianlong emperor (1736-1795). Condition - the handle has an old, probably 18th Century, "stapled" repair - no further damages and no resoration. 9.5cm (3.7inches) high; 11.5cm (4.5 inches) across.
