| A connoisseur of fine art, in the early years of the 20th century Thomas B. Clarke put together collections of antiquities and then sold them at public auction. This is the catalogue of his collection of antique vases and vessels of Eastern origin dating from the Sixth Century BC to the Eighteen Century AD. It includes a large selection of Chinese pottery and porcelain, Spanish, Arabian and Hispano-Moresque pieces, Chinese Sung, Han, Tang, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasty wares, Egyptian, Babylonian, Roman and Greek wares. Includes large photographs of the viewing room cases along with several hundred individual lots. Measures 11 1/2" by 15" and is in good condition with some toning and signs of age. Binding is tight and all pages are in good condition. | |||||||
